Mr. Tunde Temowo

Mr. Temowo, Samuel Onatunde is the managing Director of Derivatives Industries Ltd, a company which he founded in 1998. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. He specializes in Project Development, Material Management and Data Evaluation. His skills in Market Identification, Assessment and Positioning are unparalleled in the Nigerian Market. He brings a Wealth of Production Realities, Practical Experience and Realistic Market sense to the Project. Derivatives have grown to become the Market Leader in Sorghum Processing under his tenacious and dynamic leadership.

Prior to the inception of Derivatives, he was into commodity brokerage/supplies to companies in Beer and Beverages Production, Feed milling, Flour Milling with a company called City Marketers Limited incorporated by him in 1989. His singular initiatives, supported by his cousin, gave birth to a company called life care ventures Ltd, a Sorghum Malting outfit in which he presided as the MD/CEO for a period of eight years.

Mr. Temowo is sufficiently experienced. He was a Project Supervisor at the Federal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, World Bank Assisted Agricultural Development Project (Agro-Industrial Development Scheme). He also worked in the Agricultural Project Monitoring Evaluation and Planning Unit (APMEPU) between 1984 and 1985, before joining Cowries Farm Ltd as a Project Manager in 1985.

He obtained a Diploma in Agriculture from Obafemi Awolowo University School of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State Nigeria, in 1982. He received further training in Advanced Project Management both within and outside the country. He has attended several courses including Executive Management Course in Project Planning, Cost Optimization, Inventory Management and Controls. He won some Awards, Among which is the Distinguished Corporate Scientist Indigenous Company Award by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2004.

He is a philanthropist of no mean standard, a member of Nigeria-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is currently serving as the Chairman of Agric and Agro- Allied Sectoral Group, Board Member of Nigerian- Netherlands Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member of many other indigenous companies.
